Earra — Terms of Service
Last updated: 30 June 2026
Overview
Welcome to Earra. The terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to Earra, a UK-based business.
Earra operates this store and website at itsearra.com, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services (the "Services"), in order to provide you, the customer, with a curated jewellery shopping experience. Earra is powered by Shopify.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") describe your rights and responsibilities when you use the Services. Please read them carefully. By visiting, interacting with, or purchasing from our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you should not use or access our Services.
Section 1 — Access and Account
By agreeing to these Terms, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your country of residence. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You may not transfer or assign your account to any other person.
Section 2 — Our Products
Jewellery — General
Earra sells fashion jewellery including earrings (hoops and studs) and bracelets. All products are gold plated and anti-tarnish treated. Photographs and images on our website are as accurate as possible but colours and appearance may vary due to screen settings, lighting, and individual device configuration. We do not warrant that the appearance of any product will exactly match how it appears on your screen.
Materials & Metals Disclosure
Our jewellery features gold-plated, anti-tarnish coated pieces. The base metals used vary by product and may include brass, stainless steel, silver alloys, or other metals. Earra sources products from wholesale suppliers and cannot always independently verify the precise metal composition of every item.
IMPORTANT — Please read carefully before purchasing: Fashion jewellery may contain trace amounts of metals including nickel, regardless of its appearance, coating, or finish. We do not make any representation that our products are free from nickel or any other metal.
If you have a known metal allergy, sensitivity to nickel, or have previously experienced any skin reaction from wearing jewellery, you must not purchase our products without first consulting your GP or dermatologist.
By completing a purchase from Earra, you confirm that you have read and understood this disclosure. You acknowledge that the precise metal composition of products may not be known, and you accept full personal responsibility for your decision to wear the jewellery in light of any sensitivities, allergies, or medical conditions you may have.
Earra shall not be liable for any allergic reactions, skin irritation, or other adverse effects arising from wearing our products where this disclosure has been provided and acknowledged at the point of purchase. Nothing in this clause excludes or limits our liability for personal injury or death caused by our negligence or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Hypoallergenic Claims
Where any Earra product is described or marketed as hypoallergenic, this reflects the product's properties when new and the coating is intact. Gold plating and anti-tarnish coatings degrade over time through exposure to water, sweat, chemicals, perfume, and general wear. As the coating wears down, base metals beneath may become exposed — which can trigger skin reactions in individuals who initially had no sensitivity to the product.
Earra is not liable for reactions that arise as a result of coating degradation caused by failure to follow the care instructions below.
Jewellery Care — Important
To maintain the quality, longevity, and any hypoallergenic properties of your Earra jewellery:
- Keep away from water, perfume, hairspray, lotions, and cleaning products.
- Remove before swimming, bathing, exercising, or sleeping.
- Store in the dust bag provided, away from direct sunlight and humidity.
- Avoid contact with hard surfaces to prevent scratching.
Prolonged exposure to water or chemicals accelerates coating wear and may increase the risk of skin reactions over time, even if no reaction occurred when the item was new. Damage or degradation caused by failure to follow these care instructions does not constitute a manufacturing defect and will not be accepted as grounds for a return or replacement. By purchasing, you acknowledge receipt of these care instructions.
Section 3 — Orders
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. Earra reserves the right to accept or decline your order for any reason. Your order is not accepted until we confirm acceptance and process your payment. Please review your order carefully before submitting. Returns and exchanges are subject to our Refund Policy.
Section 4 — Prices and Billing
All prices are displayed in British Pounds (GBP) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes. Earra is not currently VAT registered; no VAT is charged on our sales at this time.
Prices are subject to change without notice. The price charged will be the price in effect at the time your order is placed, as confirmed in your order confirmation email. We may offer promotions and discount codes from time to time; these are governed by separate terms and cannot be combined unless expressly stated.
You represent and warrant that the payment information you provide is accurate, complete, and that you are authorised to use the payment method. All payments are processed securely through Shopify Payments or Stripe — Earra does not store your full card details.
Section 5 — Shipping and Delivery
We ship to UK addresses only. Orders are dispatched within 1–3 working days. Delivery is via Evri, DPD, or Royal Mail, depending on the order. Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout but are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by courier services, adverse weather, or events outside our control.
Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon our handover to the carrier. Once handed to the carrier, Earra is not responsible for loss or damage in transit — please contact the carrier directly for claims, and contact us at itsearra@gmail.com if you need assistance.

Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of your transaction with Earra, including any injury, damage, or loss resulting from purchased products. Section 11 — Disclaimer of Warranties
Our products are provided "as is." While we take care to accurately represent our products, we do not warrant that product descriptions, colours, or images are entirely accurate. We disclaim all implied warranties to the fullest extent permitted by UK law.
Jewellery care: We make no warranty that products will remain undamaged if care instructions are not followed. Damage from water, chemicals, physical impact, or improper storage does not constitute a manufacturing defect.
Allergies and sensitivities: We have disclosed the materials used in our products. We cannot warrant that our jewellery is suitable for individuals with all types of metal sensitivities. See Section 2 above.
Section 12 — Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable UK law, Earra shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from your use of our Services or products. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law (including your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015).
Section 13 — Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a UK consumer. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to products that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If products do not meet these standards, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund. For more information, visit citizensadvice.org.uk.
Section 14 — Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Earra, its operators, and Shopify from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law, or your use of the Services.
Section 15 — Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Nothing in this clause affects your rights as a consumer under applicable UK law.
Section 16 — Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
